About Grail
The comp engine vintage cards deserve.
Vintage card pricing is broken. Raw condition gets lumped in with graded copies, offline sales vanish from the record entirely, and dealers exploit the gap between what data exists and what collectors can actually see. Grail exists to fix that. It's a condition-aware comp engine that separates raw from graded, surfaces offline transactions that would otherwise disappear, and flags the three things that quietly kill a card's value: trimming, restoration, and reprint. If you're buying or selling pre-1980 cards and you're not filtering for these, you're working with the wrong numbers. Grail gives you the right ones.
The team is two people: Anthony handles product and engineering, and his brother is the collector and dealer who made this necessary. He's been flipping pre-1980 cards for years — he's the reason Grail got built and the first real user to put it through its paces. We're pre-launch, and we're not rushing it. Getting the data right comes before scale. When it's ready, you'll know.
