Henry Louis Aaron, nicknamed "Hammerin' Hank," was a right fielder who played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1954 through 1976. He spent 21 seasons with the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves in the National League and two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers in the American League. Aaron broke Babe Ruth's career home run record and held the mark at 755 for 33 years until 2007. He hit 24 or more home runs each season from 1955 through 1973. At retirement he held MLB career records in RBIs (2,297), extra base hits (1,477), and total bases (6,856).
