Aaron Norman Thomas (November 7, 1937 – April 26, 2024) was a tight end who played in the National Football League from 1961 to 1970, splitting his career between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants. A native of Dierks, Arkansas, he grew up in Weed, California, and played receiver at Oregon State from 1958 to 1960, earning invitations to the East-West Shrine Game, College All-Star Game, and Senior Bowl. The 49ers selected him in the fourth round of the 1961 NFL Draft; he also drew a 16th-round AFL pick from the Dallas Texans but chose the NFL.
