Alfred Freddie Denson (born January 2, 1942) was a wide receiver who played eight professional seasons, primarily with the Denver Broncos of the AFL and NFL, and later the Minnesota Vikings. He attended Florida A&M, graduating in 1963, and chose Denver after being drafted sixth round by both the Broncos and the Philadelphia Eagles in 1964. After limited action in his first two seasons, Denson broke out in 1966 with 36 catches for 725 yards. In 1967 he led the league in receiving touchdowns with 11, adding 46 receptions for 899 yards. He caught 53 passes for 809 yards and 10 touchdowns in 1969.
