Al McLeod (born 1949) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played between 1971 and 1979. Undrafted, he signed with the Detroit Red Wings as a free agent and turned professional in 1971-72. His National Hockey League career consisted of 26 games with the Red Wings in 1973-74, in which he recorded two goals and two assists. In 1974 he moved to the World Hockey Association, playing for the Phoenix Roadrunners, Indianapolis Racers, and Houston Aeros. He spent five seasons in the WHA, appearing in 342 games and recording 15 goals and 93 assists, and captained the Roadrunners in 1975-76.
