Alan Miller

Douglas Alan Miller was a linebacker in the National Football League who played for the San Diego Chargers from 1993 to 1994. He played college football at South Dakota State and was selected by San Diego in the seventh round of the 1993 NFL Draft, 188th overall. Miller appeared in 23 games during his two seasons with the Chargers. He died on July 21, 1998, after being struck by lightning in Colorado, where he had traveled to participate in a charity golf tournament.
