Albert Pudas was a Finnish-born ice hockey left winger who was the first Finnish-born player to appear in the National Hockey League. He moved to Canada as an infant and scored more than a goal per game for the Port Arthur Ports in 1922–23, continuing with Port Arthur until 1926. The Toronto St. Patricks signed him as a free agent on November 10, 1926, and he made his NHL debut on December 30, 1926, in a 4–1 win over the Boston Bruins, wearing number 14. His NHL career lasted four games. After his playing career he worked as a referee.
