Alex Gray

Alexander Haim Gray (1898–1986) was a Canadian right winger born in Glasgow, Scotland, who grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He played in the Thunder Bay Senior Hockey League with the Port Arthur Ports before signing with the New York Rangers in 1928. Gray wore number 2 and played on a line with Paul Thompson and Murray Murdoch, helping New York win the Stanley Cup that spring. He was later traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs along with Lorne Chabot in exchange for Butch Keeling and John Ross Roach, playing 13 games for Toronto in 1928–29 before moving to the minor leagues.
