Allan Bristow (born August 23, 1951) is an American former professional basketball player, coach, and executive. A 6-foot-7 small forward out of Virginia Tech, Bristow was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the 1973 NBA draft. Over a 10-year playing career spanning both the NBA and ABA, he suited up for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, and Dallas Mavericks. Bristow later served as head coach of the Charlotte Hornets from 1991 to 1996, guiding the expansion franchise to playoff appearances in 1993 and 1995. He was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 1997.
