Allan Shields

John Allan Shields (May 10, 1907 – September 24, 1975) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman who played eleven seasons in the National Hockey League between 1927 and 1938 for the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Quakers, New York Americans, Montreal Maroons, and Boston Bruins. He made his NHL debut with Ottawa in March 1928. Shields won the Stanley Cup with the Montreal Maroons during the 1934–35 season. He later played in the American Hockey League from 1938 to 1942.
