Andy Etchebarren was an American professional baseball catcher who played 15 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1962 and 1965 through 1978. Born on June 20, 1943, in Whittier, California, of Basque descent, he attended La Puente High School before signing with the Baltimore Orioles organization in 1961. Etchebarren spent the bulk of his career as a member of the Orioles dynasty, which won four American League pennants and two World Series championships between 1966 and 1971. A two-time All-Star, he also played for the California Angels and the Milwaukee Brewers before moving into coaching and minor league managing.
