Anthony Jerome Roberts (April 15, 1955 – March 29, 1997) was a forward who played five seasons in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets and Washington Bullets after being selected 21st overall in the 1977 draft. A Chattanooga, Tennessee native, Roberts starred at Oral Roberts University, where he averaged 21.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game over four seasons. His senior year he averaged 34.0 points and 9.2 rebounds, and he is one of only two NCAA Division I players — alongside Pete Maravich — to score 60 or more points in a single game against a Division I opponent more than once, posting 66 and 65 in back-to-back games in 1977.
