Archie Mason Griffin (born August 21, 1954) was a running back who played college football at Ohio State, where he won the Heisman Trophy in both 1974 and 1975 — the only player in NCAA history to win the award twice. He helped the Buckeyes capture four Big Ten Conference titles and was the first player to start in four Rose Bowls. Selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 1976 NFL Draft, Griffin spent seven seasons in the NFL with Cincinnati.
