Arthur William Thoms, Jr. (born October 20, 1946) played defensive tackle in the NFL for nine seasons after attending Syracuse University, where he was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 1969 NFL Draft. He spent eight seasons with Oakland, including a Super Bowl XI championship in the 1976 season, before finishing his career with one season in Philadelphia with the Eagles. In 2002, Thoms was inducted to the Syracuse University All Millennium Football Team.
