Dossier

Bart Crashley (born June 15, 1946) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 148 NHL games and 140 WHA games between 1965 and 1976. He began his career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1967–68, where he was paired with Gary Bergman and showed ability as a rushing defenceman, though coach Sid Abel discouraged him from carrying the puck past his own blueline. After time in Montreal's farm system, he joined the Los Angeles Sharks of the WHA following the 1972 expansion draft. He returned to the NHL with the Kansas City Scouts in 1974 before finishing with the Los Angeles Kings.
