Benjamin Charles Hawkins (March 22, 1944 – October 9, 2017), known as "the Hawk," was a wide receiver who played college football at Arizona State before being selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 1966 NFL Draft. Hawkins spent the bulk of his professional career with Philadelphia from 1966 to 1973, leading the NFL in receiving yards in 1967. He later appeared with the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Bell of the World Football League. Hawkins also held a fifth-round AFL draft selection by the New York Jets in 1966 but chose the NFL.
