Bernie Morris

Bernie Morris was a professional ice hockey player who competed for the Seattle Metropolitans of the Pacific Coast Hockey Association. The Metropolitans were among the PCHA's most successful franchises, winning five regular season championships during their nine seasons of play from 1915 to 1924. Morris was part of the Seattle club that won the Stanley Cup in 1917, making the Metropolitans the first American team to claim the championship — a milestone that predated the New York Rangers' Cup win by eleven years.
