John Albert "Bert" McCaffrey (1893–1955) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman who played seven NHL seasons with the Toronto St. Pats, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Montreal Canadiens. Before reaching the NHL, he spent eight seasons in the Ontario Hockey Association, including four with the Toronto Granites, winning Allan Cups in 1922 and 1923. As reigning senior amateur champions, the Granites represented Canada at the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix, where McCaffrey scored 20 goals in five games as Canada claimed the gold medal. He later won a Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens in 1930.
