William Aloysius "Bill" Bergen (June 13, 1878 – December 19, 1943) was born in North Brookfield, Massachusetts. His professional career ran from 1901 through 1911, placing him squarely in the deadball era, and he is most closely identified with the Brooklyn Robins of the NL. After his major-league days ended in 1911, he continued in professional ball through 1914. He was listed at 6'0" and 184 pounds. He batted and threw right-handed.
