William Charles Fischer (October 11, 1930 – October 30, 2018) was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1956 to 1964. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, he appeared for the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins, and Kansas City Athletics across 281 games. Over his career he posted a 45–58 record with a 4.34 ERA in 831⅓ innings pitched. A reliable fielder at his position, Fischer compiled a .987 fielding percentage against a league average 28 points lower.
