William John Inglis (born May 11, 1943) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who appeared in 36 NHL games split between the Los Angeles Kings (22 games) and the Buffalo Sabres (14 games) from 1967 to 1970, recording one goal and three assists. The bulk of his 15-year playing career (1963–1978) was spent in the American Hockey League, Western Hockey League, and Central Professional Hockey League. He later transitioned to coaching, taking over as Buffalo's head coach for the final 56 games of the 1978–79 season and posting a 28–18–10 regular-season record before a first-round playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
