William Ronald Plager (1945–2016) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the NHL from 1967 through the 1976 season. He began his NHL career with the Minnesota North Stars before also suiting up for the St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Flames. Plager is the brother of Bob Plager and Barclay Plager, and all three played together for four seasons with the Blues. Before his professional career, he played for the Peterborough Petes in Ontario.
