Bill Shipke

William Martin "Skipper Bill; Muskrat Bill" Shipke (November 18, 1882 – September 10, 1940) was a professional baseball player. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He stood 5'7" and weighed 145 pounds, batting and throwing right-handed. He played in the major leagues from 1906 through 1909, primarily with the Washington Senators in the AL. His broader professional career spanned 1902 to 1920. He appears on T204 Ramly and T206 White Border. He died on September 10, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska. He is buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
