Bill Symons (born June 14, 1943) is an American former professional football running back who played college football at the University of Colorado from 1962 to 1964, where he contributed as a runner, receiver, punt returner, kickoff returner, and occasional punter. Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round and the Kansas City Chiefs in the twentieth round in 1965, Symons attended two Packers training camps before a knee injury led to his release. He joined the BC Lions in 1966, then moved to the Toronto Argonauts via trade, where he went on to a career in the Canadian Football League.
