William Robert Tuttle (July 4, 1929 – July 27, 1998) was a right-handed center fielder who spent 11 seasons in Major League Baseball. Born in Cramer, Illinois, he attended Bradley University in Peoria before making his major league debut on September 10, 1952. Tuttle played for the Detroit Tigers (1952, 1954–1957), Kansas City Athletics (1958–1961), and Minnesota Twins (1961–1963), appearing in 1,270 games. He finished with a .259 career batting average, 1,105 hits, 67 home runs, and 443 RBIs. His best power season came in 1955, when he posted career highs of 102 runs scored, 14 home runs, and 78 RBIs.
