Robert Earl Davidson (February 10, 1912 – September 26, 1996) was a Canadian left winger who played 12 seasons in the National Hockey League entirely with the Toronto Maple Leafs, from 1933–34 through 1945–46. Known to teammates as "Rugged Robert," he won two Stanley Cups as a player, in 1941–42 and 1944–45, and served as team captain during the 1943–44 and 1944–45 seasons. After retiring, Davidson remained with the organization as chief scout, where he built the Maple Leafs teams that won four Stanley Cups in the 1960s (1962, 1963, 1964, 1967).
