Robert DeLafayette Jeter Jr. (May 9, 1937 – November 20, 2008) was a cornerback in the National Football League who played for the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. Born in Union, South Carolina, he grew up in Weirton, West Virginia, where he starred at Weir High School, earning All-State and All-American honors his senior season in 1955. He went on to play college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes before reaching the NFL. In 1969, Weirton honored him with a "Bob Jeter Day."
