Robert Kowalkowski (1943–2009) was an NFL offensive guard who played twelve seasons from 1966 to 1977, spending the bulk of his career with the Detroit Lions before finishing with the Green Bay Packers. He played college football at the University of Virginia and was selected by Detroit in the fifth round of the 1965 NFL Draft. His son Scott Kowalkowski was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1991 and later played for the Lions as well.
