Robert Mann (April 8, 1924 – October 21, 2006) was a professional football end who played college football for the Hampton Pirates and the Michigan Wolverines, where he broke the Big Ten Conference record for receiving yards in 1946 and 1947. Undrafted in 1948, he signed with the Detroit Lions and became the first Black player to break the color barrier there. He led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,014 in the 1949 season. After a contract dispute led to a trade and release, he signed with the Green Bay Packers, where he was also the first Black player, and served as the team's leading receiver in 1951.
