Erwin Coolidge "Bob" Porterfield (August 10, 1923 – April 28, 1980) was an American right-handed pitcher who spent twelve seasons in Major League Baseball between 1948 and 1959. He debuted with the New York Yankees on August 8, 1948, going 5–3 with a 4.50 ERA in his rookie year while also leading the International League in ERA that season. Porterfield later played for the Washington Senators, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Chicago Cubs, and appeared in one All-Star Game during his career.
