Bob Sauve
Dossier
Robert F. Sauvé (born June 17, 1955, in Sainte-Geneviève, Quebec) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. After a junior career with the QMJHL's Laval National, he was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the first round (17th overall) of the 1975 NHL Entry Draft. The WHA's Cincinnati Stingers also drafted him that year, but Sauvé opted for the NHL. He appeared in four games for Buffalo during the 1976–77 season while spending most of that year with the AHL's Rhode Island Reds, before settling into a backup role behind Don Edwards the following season.
