Robert "Bobby" Tolan (born November 19, 1945) was a left-handed outfielder who played center and right field in Major League Baseball from 1965 to 1979. He broke in with the St. Louis Cardinals, serving as a reserve while the club won the 1967 World Series and reached the 1968 Fall Classic. Following the 1968 season, the Cardinals traded Tolan and reliever Wayne Granger to the Cincinnati Reds for outfielder Vada Pinson. He went on to play for the San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, and spent the 1978 season with the Nankai Hawks in Nippon Professional Baseball.
