Robert Lee Turley (September 19, 1930 – March 30, 2013), nicknamed "Bullet Bob," was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1951 through 1963. He debuted with the St. Louis Browns and remained with the franchise into their first season as the Baltimore Orioles, earning his first All-Star selection. Traded to the New York Yankees after 1954, Turley appeared in two additional All-Star Games and had his best season in 1958, when he led the American League in wins and took home the Cy Young Award, World Series MVP honors, and the Hickok Belt. He finished his playing career with the Los Angeles Angels and Boston Red Sox.
