Robert Anthony Grich (born January 15, 1949, Long Beach, California) was a second baseman in Major League Baseball from 1970 to 1986. Selected by Baltimore in the first round of the 1967 draft, he debuted with the Orioles midway through the 1970 season and remained there through 1976 before signing with the California Angels, where he finished his career in 1986. A six-time All-Star, Grich won four consecutive Gold Glove Awards from 1973 to 1976 and earned a Silver Slugger in 1981 after leading the American League in home runs that season. He was the inaugural inductee into the California Angels Hall of Fame in 1988.
