Boris Mikhailov (born October 6, 1944) was a Soviet right wing who played for CSKA Moscow throughout the 1970s, centering the top Soviet line alongside left winger Valeri Kharlamov and center Vladimir Petrov. During Soviet League play he appeared in 572 games, recording 428 goals and 224 assists for 652 points, both records. As captain of the Soviet national team across 14 seasons, he scored over 200 goals and led the squad to Olympic gold in 1972 and 1976, a silver medal in 1980, and eight IIHF World Championships. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2000.
