Brad Ecklund

Bradford Denison Ecklund (May 9, 1922 – February 6, 2010) was a center who played in the All-America Football Conference and the National Football League. Born in Los Angeles, Ecklund starred in four sports at Milwaukie High School in Oregon and earned a football scholarship to the University of Oregon after turning down a contract offer from the Philadelphia Athletics. Coach Tex Oliver moved him from fullback to center before his freshman season, and he started immediately. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1950 and 1951. He died in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey.
