Bruce Allan Boudreau is a Canadian ice hockey player born January 9, 1955, in Toronto. Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round (42nd overall) of the 1975 NHL amateur draft, he appeared in 141 NHL games split between the Maple Leafs and Chicago Black Hawks, and added 30 games with the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the World Hockey Association. The bulk of his playing career was spent in the American Hockey League, where he accumulated 316 goals and 483 assists for 799 points across 634 games. He later moved into coaching, winning the 2007–08 Jack Adams Award as the NHL's most outstanding head coach with the Washington Capitals.
