César Gerónimo (born March 11, 1948, in El Seibo, Dominican Republic) was a centerfielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1969 through 1983. He spent the core of his career with the Cincinnati Reds, where he was part of the club's dynasty that won three National League pennants and two World Series championships between 1972 and 1976. He also played for the Houston Astros and Kansas City Royals. Though not a standout offensively, Gerónimo was a skilled defensive outfielder, earning four consecutive Gold Glove Awards from 1974 through 1977. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2008.
