Charles Adrian Dinsmore (July 23, 1903 – December 5, 1982), known as "Dinny," was a Canadian ice hockey player who played 100 games in the National Hockey League with the Montreal Maroons between 1924 and 1930. Born in Toronto, he signed with the expansion Maroons in 1924. On December 1, 1924, he scored the first goal ever recorded against the Boston Bruins, then in their inaugural season. Dinsmore helped Montreal win the Stanley Cup in 1925–26. He left hockey in 1928 to work as a bond trader but returned to the Maroons during the 1929–30 season to finish his playing career.
