Charles Taylor Hennigan Sr. (March 19, 1935 – December 20, 2017) was an American football wide receiver who played for the Houston Oilers of the American Football League. He attended Northwestern State College in Louisiana and joined the Oilers in 1960, the league's inaugural season. In 1961 he gained 1,746 receiving yards, a professional football record that stood for 34 years, and held the AFL single-game record of 272 receiving yards, set against the Boston Patriots on October 13, 1961. He was a Sporting News AFL All-League selection in 1961, 1962, and 1964 and an AFL Eastern Division All-Star for five consecutive years from 1961 to 1965. He retired after the 1966 season and was later named to the All-Time All-AFL Second Team.
