Charlie Starr

Charlie Starr, given name Charles Watkin (August 30, 1878 – October 18, 1937). He was born in Pike County, Ohio and died in Pasadena, California. He weighed 165 pounds. He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. He debuted in the majors in 1905 and played his last big-league season in 1909, a stretch of 5 seasons, primarily with the Boston Braves of the National League. His full professional career, including the minor leagues, ran from 1905 through 1916. His card presence in this catalog is on the T206 White Border tobacco issue, distributed by the American Tobacco Company between 1909 and 1911. He is interred at Cremated.
