Harry Vance "Chuck" Muncie (March 17, 1953 – May 13, 2013) was a running back in the NFL from 1976 to 1984. He played college football for the California Golden Bears, finishing as Heisman Trophy runner-up in his senior year. Selected third overall by the New Orleans Saints in the 1976 draft, he became the first Saint named to a Pro Bowl and the franchise's first 1,000-yard rusher. Traded to San Diego in 1980, he starred in the Air Coryell offense and earned two more Pro Bowl selections, tying the then-NFL season record for rushing touchdowns in 1981.
