Chuck Taylor

Charles Gilbert Taylor (April 18, 1942 – June 5, 2018) was an American professional baseball player who worked as a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1976. A native who attended Bell Buckle High School before playing at Middle Tennessee State University, Taylor was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1961 and spent several years in the minor league system. He went on to pitch for the Cardinals, New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers, and Montreal Expos during his big-league career spanning parts of eight seasons.
