Claude Raymond (born May 7, 1937), nicknamed "Frenchy," was a Canadian right-handed relief pitcher who spent 12 seasons in Major League Baseball. He appeared for the Chicago White Sox (1959), Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves (1961–63, 1967–69), Houston Colt .45s/Astros (1964–67), and Montreal Expos (1969–71). Over 449 games, he posted a 46–53 record with 82 saves, 497 strikeouts, and a 3.66 ERA across 721 innings. A native Quebecer, Raymond called his 1969 trade to the expansion Expos one of the happiest moments of his career. He later spent nearly three decades as a French-language broadcaster for Montreal.
