Clemon Daniels Jr. (1937–2019) was a halfback who played professional football in both the American Football League and the National Football League. He attended Prairie View A&M University, where he earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore and junior and captained the NAIA National Football Championship team in his senior year. He also completed the Army ROTC program at Prairie View A&M, earning a commission in the United States Army Reserve. Daniels entered professional football in 1960 as a free agent signed by the AFL's Dallas Texans.
