Clifford Alexander Aberson (1921-1973) was an American left fielder who played parts of three seasons in Major League Baseball for the Chicago Cubs from 1947 to 1949. He appeared in 63 career games and batted .251. Aberson was a two-sport athlete: before his major-league baseball career, he played football for the Green Bay Packers, appearing in ten games during the 1946 season. He served in the military during World War II, enlisting in the United States Army Air Forces in 1943 and later serving in the European theater as a sergeant before his discharge in March 1946. Aberson died in 1973 at age 51.
