Clint Jones

Clinton Jones (born May 24, 1945) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League for the Minnesota Vikings and San Diego Chargers. He played college football at Michigan State and was selected by the Vikings second overall in the first round of the 1967 NFL/AFL draft. He spent six seasons with Minnesota from 1967 to 1972 before playing his final season with San Diego in 1973. Over his career he recorded 602 carries for 2,178 yards, 38 receptions for 431 yards, and 21 touchdowns. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
