Dalton Jones (born December 10, 1943, in McComb, Mississippi) was a utility infielder and pinch-hitter who played nine seasons in Major League Baseball. He spent the bulk of his career with the Boston Red Sox (1964–1969) before stints with the Detroit Tigers (1970–1972) and Texas Rangers (1972). In 907 major league games he batted .235 with 548 hits, 41 home runs, and 237 RBI. His best season came in 1967, when he led the American League with 13 pinch hits and posted a career-high .289 average as the Red Sox reached the World Series.
