Daniel Joseph Conners (1942–2019) was a professional football linebacker from Clearfield, Pennsylvania who played 11 seasons in the AFL and NFL. After starring at the University of Miami — where he was named an All-American defensive tackle in 1963 and later inducted into the Hurricanes' Hall of Fame — Conners was drafted by the Oakland Raiders. He played for Oakland from 1964 through 1974, spanning the franchise's AFL years and its transition into the NFL, and is remembered as one of the steadier linebackers of the Raiders' formative era.
