Daniel Driessen (born July 29, 1951, in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina) played first base in Major League Baseball from 1973 to 1987, spending the core of his career with the Cincinnati Reds. Signed by Cincinnati as an amateur free agent in 1969, he debuted in the majors at age 21 and became part of the Reds dynasty that claimed three National League pennants and two World Series championships between 1973 and 1976. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Hall of Fame on June 23, 2012.
